4. What should we pay attention to in daily use of airbags?
Understand the location of the key parts of the vehicle's airbags. We should never knock or hit the airbags at any time, and we should not directly wash the airbags with water or risk wading, because the damp airbags cannot protect your life at the critical moment. The airbags and sensors should also be kept away from high temperature and static electricity to avoid causing the airbags to open incorrectly.
Do not change the airbag system and its surrounding layout without authorization. Do not change the system's lines and components, the bumper and the front part of the vehicle without authorization. Do not stick any decorations or tape on the steering wheel and the passenger side airbag area to avoid affecting the explosion of the airbag.
To protect smaller passengers (such as children) from being injured by high-speed airbags, some models have a front passenger airbag switch installed in the glove box or center console. If an adult is sitting in the front passenger seat, be sure to check whether the airbag is deployed.
